BiographyMick McQuaid graduated with the PhD degree from the University of Arizona in 2003 and has been teaching for almost all the time since, with just a year as a post-doc at Carnegie Mellon and two years as a computing security expert at University of Michigan. He has taught at University of Michigan, University of Oregon, and Rochester Institute of Technology. Mick grew up in an Air Force family and moved around the United States quite a bit. In his spare time he plays Irish traditional flute and Uilleann pipes and does woodworking. He has a wonderful family including two adorable teenagers.
