Undergraduate Career Placement Specialist

The School of Information (iSchool) at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for an Undergraduate Placement Specialist to support undergraduate students through career exploration, career coaching, and career education. This position will serve as primary career advisor for undergraduate students and recent alumni of the School of Information to include strategic career planning, job search strategies, and employer connections.

Our Informatics degree programs are designed to serve undergraduate students who are interested in either a liberal arts-based or STEM-based approach to the rapidly growing intersection of people, information, technology, and data. Major concentrations include: Cultural Heritage Informatics, Health Informatics, Human-Centered Data Science, Social Informatics, Social Justice Informatics, and User Experience Design.
