Ethereum 101 Workshop
Noon to 3 p.m.
UTA 1.212

This Friday, March 8th, I will be opening up my Introduction to Blockchain class for an interactive, educational workshop provided by Coogan Brennan of ConsenSys Academy, the educational arm of the blockchain company ConsenSys.

The “Ethereum 101” workshop is instructor-led training that on-boards students directly to the Ethereum blockchain by learning and interacting with technical foundation concepts. While focused on the Ethereum blockchain, these foundational concepts are applicable to almost all blockchain networks. This workshop will provide a balance between high-level concept instruction and deep-dive technical learning. It is designed for non-developers and doesn’t require deep technical knowledge, although familiarity with concepts such as cryptography, digital signatures, and hash functions will be very helpful. I’ve attached a one-page overview of the course with more details.

This workshop will run during my normal class hours, from 12pm to 3pm. There are a limited number of additional seats, which I’m offering to interested iSchool students on a first come, first served basis. Space limitations require that you must be approved to attend and register for the class ahead of time.

If you would like to attend, please email me directly at lhayden@ischool.utexas.edu. If there are still available seats, I’ll confirm and provide you with the registration link.

Thanks!
