23 APRIL 2002 MEETING MINUTES

Present: Carol Mead, Charles Hargrove, Becky Romanchuk, Amy Braitsch, Molly Wheeler, Heather Arnold, Stephen Naron, Ben Stone,Trish Nugent, Traci Drummond, Dixie Owen, Erin Lawrimore, Addy Sonder,Dr. David B. Gracy II

I.Meeting called to order by Carol Mead, president, at 5:30pm.

II. SAA End-of-Year Party

Carol asked us when we should have the party. After some discussion of our various schedules, we settled on May 11, a Saturday, at 7pm at Charles' house, 1807 Garden St. It will be potluck and everyone should email Amy with an indication of what they play to bring. Heather will post a party notice and link to a map and directions on our web site.

III. Paul Wilson Party

Eleanor Lisney has checked with the Clay Pit Indian restaurant and learned that they have a room that can be reserved for parties at no cost. She will make arrangements to reserve the room for Friday May 10 at lunch time. Their buffet is five dollars, all you can eat. Eleanor will post to the SAA list concerning details of time, etc.

IV. Mugs

The new mugs are in Dr. Gracy's office. The price is set at seven dollars. Dr. Gracy will be giving one to the Dean to have on display in his office. Shipping price information has not yet been researched; the new board should look into this to market the mugs to as widely-flung a customer base as possible.

V. Archives Week Committee Reports

Carol reminds us one last time to be sure to complete our committee reports before the semester ends, or we leave town, whichever comes first. Carol will have our Chapter report in to SAA by the end of May.
