This Network Security Resource (NSR) will initially provide informative material on information and network security policies and technologies based on the combined research and comparisons efforts of students of LIS 385T6, Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS), Spring 2001. This site is the result of one project among many others undertaken by the class. The NSR is intended to both complement offerings of future classes and act as a stand-alone resource. The target audience for the NSR are current students of the GSLIS program at the University of Texas at Austin, but we expect the NSR will be of interest to GSLIS alumni, UT faculty and administrators, new network administrators, and others with an interest in information and network security.
