Thu., Oct. 11 at 5.30pm at Austin's City Hall:
Title: Mayor's Proclamation for Archives Week
 
Speaker: Mayor Will Wynn

Mon., Oct 15 at 7pm in the LBJ Library's Brown Room:
Title: "The Robert F. Kennedy Assassination:
          the Case, the Records, and the Management
          of a High-Profile Archival Collection"
 
Speaker: Nancy Zimmelman Lenoil, State Archivist
          for the State of California.

Tues., Oct. 16 at 7pm in the Pharmacy Building's Room 2.108
Title: Archival Politics and Policies: A Panel Discussion
 
Speakers: Philip Doty, associate professor of the UT School of Information;
          Regina Greenwell of the LBJ Library and Museum; and
          Steve Mielke, professional librarian of the Harry Ransom Humanities Research
          Center
Thu., Oct. 18 at 4pm in the Benson Latin American Collection's Rare Books Reading Room:
Title: "Politics and Perils in the Archives"
 
Speaker: Dr. Donna J. Guy, professor of history at Ohio State University

Sat., Oct. 20 from 2pm to 4pm at the Austin History Center:
Title: Archives Clinic
 
Information: Bring in your personal and family records to receive guidance on topics
          ranging from organization and storage to archival preservation of papers,
          photographs, scrapbooks, home video and audio recordings, electronic records,
          and other documents. Students and faculty from the University of Texas School of
          Information and the Kilgarlin Center of the School of Information, along with staff
          archivists from the Austin History Center and other repositories, will be available
          to answer your questions.
