MOBILE SCANNING RIG
The Mobile Scanning Rig is a tool designed to aide in the timely and efficient scanning of documents using mobile devices with high resolution photography. The legs of the rig unfold and tighten in order to provide your mobile device a fixed height above documents. Coupled with other hardware or software features, such as remote shutter or auto-cropping, the Mobile Scanning Rig becomes a powerful tool and integral part of a quick and painless work flow for scanning in volume.
The Mobile Scanning Rig is 3D printed and requires some common hardware that can be found at most hardware stores (see below for specs). Initial assembly takes anywhere between 30 and 45 minutes with a few simple tools and our detailed instructions. The full 3D print file is available for download on this page, or an order may be placed with the iSchool IT lab. All units are sold in raw printed format at cost for $8.00, payable only with BevoBucks.
