Bio

Mr. Stewart began working in the iSchool in 1998, first as a part-time Teaching Assistant in the Information Technology Lab and for various professors at the School of Information. As a student, he co-developed with Dr. Grete Pasch the Web-based version of the popular "Information in Cyberspace" course, possibly the longest continually offered Web-based course at UT. He was instrumental in the expansion of the iSchool curriculum into the digitization realm, and has developed, taught or co-taught courses in this area. His research interests include the use of indexed and searchable rich-media tutorials for education, digitization in all formats, including mobile digitization, and the use of rich media in archival collections to both expand access and research use of these materials.

B.A., 1996, Government, and M.L.I.S., 1999, Information Science, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
