Biography
In her 21+ year career in the profession, Zandra's experience includes service in public and school library systems. She is currently the lead librarian at Vandegrift High School in Austin, TX since 2009. Zandra enthusiastically promotes young adult literature and information literacy through instruction and collection development. She is active in statewide organizations and committees working to improve and enhance school library communities in both Colorado and Texas. She worked on the committee to reevaluate licensing assessments for Colorado educators in the school library field and was on the sub-committee for the drafting of information literacy standards in Texas. Most recently she is involved with the AASL Inspire Special Event Grant subcommittee.Courses
