The University of Texas at Austin School of Information invites applications to our doctoral program for Fall 2014. Funding is available in the form of fellowships, scholarships, and assistantships, which typically include a stipend, tuition reduction, and medical insurance with premium sharing.
The application deadline for all applicants is November 15, 2013. Application requirements include:
- an application;
- official transcripts for all undergraduate coursework and, where applicable, all graduate coursework;
- official test scores for the GRE for all students and the TOEFL or IELTS for international students;
- application fee;
- statement of purpose;
- and three letters of recommendation.

We will be holding both on-campus and online Open Houses to provide more information about the doctoral program and answer questions from prospective applicants. The online Open House was held on Monday, October 28 from 4-5 pm CDT and is available below.The on-campus Open House will be held on Tuesday, October 29 from 4:30-5:30 pm CDT in UTA 5.522.
