Class of 2020 Commencement Reunion Ceremony
8 to 10 p.m.
UT Tower (South Mall)

University-Wide Commencement Ceremony
This ceremony will be hosted by President Hartzell. Graduates will be seated according to college or school and recognized as a class by their dean during the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate with the graduates. The ceremony will also include remarks from the Commencement speaker, Dr. Brené Brown, and traditions that mark a Longhorn’s passage from student to alumnus. The ceremony will conclude with the traditional fireworks show and the Tower lit with the 2020 graduation year.

The evening will culminate in a celebration concert on the Gregory Gym Plaza. All graduates and their guests are invited.

2020 Commencement Reunion

Regalia
Graduates should plan to wear academic regalia (cap and gown, or the appropriate attire for their degree level). If graduates do not have regalia from May 2020, replacements can be purchased at the University Co-op.

College and School Events
As a part of the reunion, 2020 graduates will have the opportunity for an individual moment of recognition with the dean of their college or school. A professional photographer will be there to record the moment and will offer photos for purchase. As final plans are determined, colleges and schools hosting additional activities recognizing 2020 graduates will communicate those details directly to graduates who have RSVPed.
