Prerequisites:

Graduate standing.

Description:

Collection design, resource selection, description and organization, development of user access mechanisms. May include collection considerations in regards to various media, workflow and project management, audience analysis, and notions of authorship in the collection context. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Information Studies 385T (Topic: Creating and Using Digital Media Collections) and 385U may not both be counted.
