INF 315C - Topics In Human-Computer Interaction: User Research
Fundamental concepts, techniques, and questions in human-computer interaction. Topics
covered may include user research, interaction design, user interface design, and usability.
Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
May be repeated for credit when the topics vary.
Detailed Course Summary: The course is designed to help students
to get hands-on experience with investigating and analyzing how
people use designed objects. There is a growing body of work
about usability, but there is no substitute for asking people
what they actually think, or watching what they actually do! In
this class, we will study how to do so properly.
