Class may alternate between in-person classroom instruction and synchronous online class meetings as determined by the instructor.
DESCRIPTION
This class offers an introduction to computer programming for those without any prior knowledge or experience in computer programming. If you already have programming experience, please explore options below for waiving the requirement to take this class. We will introduce four broad areas related to success in computer programming: language, software engineering concepts, programming environment, and practical know-how.
RESTRICTIONS
Informatics majors will have top registration priority through the early periods of registration. Informatics minors are encouraged to join the waitlist, which will begin promoting students on December 12 if seats remain available.
All other students will need to complete this Registration Support Questionnaire in order to request a seat in any of our classes.
