COURSE NOTES

This is a project-based course designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical experience of interactive system evaluation, a.k.a. usability testing. In this course, you will learn usability testing principles and strategies for planning and conducting a test in a usability lab. Once the basics are established through early class meetings and online discussion, you will focus your efforts on working with your team to plan, prepare, and conduct a usability test, then analyze and present the results in a written report, and oral presentation. Highlight of the course is usability testing with users that students will conduct in the well-equipped lab at iSchool. https://www.ischool.utexas.edu/sites/default/files/images/webform/Undergrad_HCI_Eval__Syllabus_Spring2019_FULL_1.pdf
