Information for Paper Presenters

Check the schedule to find your session. If you are in a four-person session, you will need to limit your talk to a maximum of 15 minutes to allow time for the other speakers.

All paper sessions have chairs, who are in charge of introducing the speakers, ensuring paper presenters stay within their allotted times, and providing substantive comments and questions for each speaker.

All rooms will be equipped with a laptop PC and projector.

Information for Poster Presenters

If you would like to have your poster printed by UT's School of Information and have it waiting for you at AERI, you must send your file to the UT AERI email address by no later than JUNE 3rd. If we print your poster for you and you would like to take it home at the end of the Institute, remember to bring your own poster tube.

The printed poster dimensions are 24 inches x 36 inches (2 feet x 3 feet). The poster file must be created "at size," meaning that you want to design the poster to be printed at 24 inches x 36 inches. Any included images should be at least 200-300 dpi. The poster can either be vertical or horizontal. Submit your poster as either a .ppt (Power Point) or a .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) file.

Please keep in mind that this is a juried poster competition. You will be standing by your poster during judging. The judges will be basing their scores on the following criteria: poster design, content, and explanations by the presenter.
