School of Information Technology Services provides members of the iSchool community with an iSchool server account (or iSchool account, for short) that can be used for email, web publishing and other purposes. In order to be eligible for an account, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Graduate student enrolled in the iSchool
  • Faculty or staff employed by the iSchool
  • Student from another department taking certain iSchool courses
  • With prior approval, accounts may also be provided to organizations and projects affiliated with the iSchool

In order to quickly establish your identity and affiliation with the School of Information, you will be required to log in with your UT Austin EID username and password to access the iSchool Accounts Manager. Once you've logged in, you will be able to:

  • Request a new iSchool account
  • Request that your iSchool account password be reset
  • Request that your iSchool account be removed
  • Link an existing iSchool account with your EID (for accounts created prior to the iSchool Accounts Manager)
  • Review previous requests
