Gap-fill Exercise

Fill in all the gaps, then press "Check" to check your answers. Use the "Hint" button to get a free letter if an answer is giving you trouble. You can also click on the "[?]" button to get a clue. Note that you will lose points if you ask for hints or clues!
To help you complete this learning activity, you will want to refer to the Annotated List of TexShare Databases as well as the actual database.

1. Middle Search Plus contains full text for more than popular and middle school magazines.

2. The collection contains 192,999 photos, maps, and flags.

3. The Our States series is made up of titles.

4. While searching the database, you can search by Lexile Reading or Lexile Reading .

5. You can limit your results by looking at the story.

6. The database searches definitions using The American Heritage Dictionary, .

7. In the Publications tab at the top of the page in database, you can browse , by subject & description, and match any words.
