Scholarship Resources
The Stepping Up grant provides funding for 18 of the hours required for the degree. A number of scholarships sponsored by the American Library Association, the University of Texas, the School of Information, and other organizations are available to help fund the rest of the degree. Every effort will be made to assist Stepping Up students in their applications for these grants. In addition, some employers offer tuition reimbursement programs and every effort should be made to maximize those benefits when possible.
One often-overlooked resource at UT is its Regional Foundation Library, which specializes in helping patrons find sources of funding for a variety of reasons, including education.
