Membership:

Membership in the student chapter is open to all University of Texas students that have an interest in archival enterprise. We encourage members of the student chapter to also become members of the Society of American Archivists national organization. National members receive special conference rates, SAA publication catalogs, continuing education workshops, and free subscriptions to Archival Outlook and American Archivist .

Student members may also participate in the SAA mentoring program , which pairs students with professional archivists working in an area of similar interest. If you decide not to join the student chapter or the national organization, you are still welcome to attend chapter field trips, meetings, or guest presentations.

1. Fill out the chapter application .
2. Submit the application and a check for $5 made out to "SAA-UT Student Chapter" to the SAA mailbox located at the end of the iSchool student mailboxes.
