- Co-Director, (Spring, 1999 - Fall, 2001). Research and Demonstration
Project: "Characterization of the Use and Usability of a Web-based Digital
Library." Federally funded for $224,000 by the Institute for Museum and
Library Studies (IMLS). Ruth Palmquist and Mark McFarland co-wrote and are
co-directing the project under the PI-ship of Dr. Harold Billings, Director
of General Libraries for The University of Texas at Austin.
- Principal Investigator, (Spring, 1996 - Fall, 1996). Association
for Library and Information Science Education funded project, "Cognitive
Strategies in a Hyper-Linked Environment: An Exploration of Tools and Techniques."
Conducted at GSLIS. The University of Texas at Austin. Recipient of UT Summer
