Final Project

Spring 2002

Final Project
Due Date: April 29, 2003

Your final project will be a group effort in which you develop a web-based resource for one of the subjects covered in class. Your group may pick any subject you find interesting, as long as it does not overlap significantly with another group's project.

Your project will need to contain original research done by your group, not simply a restating of the class lecture. The size and number of the web pages you develop will depend on the subject you choose and the type of material you present.

Your project will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the basic HTML principles covered in class. Your project should contain most or all of the elements listed below:

  • links
  • graphics
  • tables
  • text formatting
  • metatags

Part of your grade will involve a class presentation of your site. Each member of the group will be expected to speak and discuss their participation in the development process.

In addition to the class presentation, please send the address for your project to sgunn@gslis.utexas.edu.
