Welcome!

I am an IMLS Doctoral Preservation Fellow in the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin. My research interests are in community archives-creation and international preservation collaborations. My current research is on mental health archives. In particular, I am interested in addressing the complexities of the organization and description of such archives when the legal and ethical issues of patient privacy are at stake. I also intend to explore the limitations and potential of institutional documentation of historically under- and misrepresented groups, i.e., the mentally ill and disabled.
