Assignment Title: Discussion Board Logon and Profile Update. Participation: Individual. Due date: 24 January 2001. Format: Discussion board posts. Submission Method: Post to the discussion board. Maximum points: Part of course participation. Introduction: The students in the first offering of LIS 386.13 expressed concern that they knew little about their colleagues taking the course. The intent of this biographical information is to fill that void and help students become better acquainted with each other. The information listed in this section will not be available to folks outside the discussion board. Nevertheless, it is the student's option not to provide specific personal information if she or he does not desire to. We encourage each student to share what he or she is comfortable with and to talk with others, the TAs, and the professor in person during (or even after) the course.
