Psychology and Behavioral Science Collection

The Psychology and Behavioral Science Collection, published by EBSCOhost, allows users to explore the scholarly literature in the field of psychology and behavioral science. Examples of prominent sources receiving attention are American Journal of Family Therapy, Current Psychology, and Journal of Mental Health. It includes approximately 550 full-text publications, and of these publications, more than 500 are peer-reviewed journals. The index does not provide information from popular media sources. The dates of coverage for these sources vary, but some journals have coverage back to 1965. It receives updates daily.

Academic Search Premier

InfoTrac Custom Newspapers

Articles are provided in full-text and are completely indexed, including proper names.

ArticleFirst is an index produced by OCLC that allows you to search for journal articles by subject, title, and/or author.The index includes articles from the table of contents pages of more than 12,000 journals from 1990 to the present and it is updated daily. The index includes scholarly journals and popular works (such as magazines and newspapers), making ArticleFirst a valuable research tool for accessing articles for reference and for leisure purposes alike. Publications indexed in the database include American Journal of Health Studies, Economic Review, Good Housekeeping, National Geographic, People, Performing Arts Journal, Rolling Stone, and TV Guide.

WorldCat (OCLC)

WorldCat is an index produced by OCLC that includes records of items in almost any format from thousands of libraries around the world. Items included date back as far as 1000BC. It is a large database containing millions of records, which exist in approximately 400 languages. The search pages are user friendly as they will keep track of previous searches, allow the user to email records, and link the user to libraries in their area.

Texas Almanac Online

HeritageQuest

HeritageQuest presents a varied and in-depth set of data for genealogists and historians. HeritageQuest is designed to help amateur and professional geneaologists, local historians, and public library patrons to search and use data from all of the U.S. Censuses until 1930, an index of 6,500 local history and genealogy periodicals (PERSI), a database of Revolutionary War pension and bounty-land warrant, plus the full text of 25,000 local histories and family histories.

Newspaper Source is an index produced by EBSCOhost that provides well-researched articles by high quality, relevant and authoritative news sources. It carries selected full-text articles for 25 national and international newspapers such as The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, and The Times (London). In addition, Newspaper Source carries selected full-text articles for 200 regional newspapers from the U.S. such as The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, and The Miami Herald.
