Information Resources in the Humanities

Class Participation

Each student's contribution to class discussion and group work is important to provide a positive learning experience for everyone.

Class participation accounts for 10% of the grade. Students may accrue class participation credit through:

(a) general discussion of results of completing questions on sample worksheets (6 points);
(b) participation and presentation of group projects:

(1) development of virtual reference library (1 point)
(2) oral presentation of pathfinder (2 points)
(3) general participation, including other opportunities for contributing to discussion might include asking guest speakers questions (1 points).
