Index Activity

Assignment Description:

Develop an active learning exercise to help your classmates acquire more experience in understanding and using a specific database in the Humanities. Select a database other than the one you selected for your in-depth presentation. Active learning exercises may include hands on work with databases, small group activity, writing exercises, and games. Let me know if you need to reserve the Annex to the IT Lab to give the class access to more than one networked computer. The class should complete the activity within a 30 minute time slot.

You will be evaluated on:

1. Design of the activity:
A. Are key elements of the database featured?
B. Are unique features of the database covered?
C. Are search features covered?
D. Are potential usage/users of the database described?

2. Instructions; guidance on how to complete the activity
