Library Instruction and Information Literacy

 

Each student will lead discussion on selected readings.  All students in the class are expected to be prepared to participate in the discussion activities.  Student leaders should be able to:

            A. Provide a summary of the reading;

            B. Compare the reading to others on the list covered to date;

            C. Evaluate the usefulness or impact of the reading;

            D. Engage the class in an active learning technique related to the reading.

            E. Explain any connection between the reading and relevance to the class project.

            F. Time limits: 20 minutes

Your summary should be in your own words. Be sure to not read lengthy (more than 1-2 sentences) passages from your reading.
