Course Objectives 1. 1. To introduce students to established and emerging fields of library and information science domain for the purpose of orienting students to the breadth of this dynamic and growing realm of knowledge and practice. 2. To give students a historical perspective on the broad library and information science domain as a context for understanding the development of and current issues across the domain.
