Problems and Potentials for Libraries and Their Visually Impaired Patrons - Paper written for Information Technologies and Information Professions. I explored the current problems visually impaired patrons experience at libraries and some potential solutions for these dilemmas.

Library Field Observation of The Perry Perry-Castañeda Library - Paper written for Introduction to Information Resources and Services. I observed and analyzed the behaviors reference librarians exhibited during reference interviews.

The Future of Reference - Paper written for Introduction to Information Resources and Services. I discussed the controversy surrounding the future of reference services.

Information Needs and Information-Seeking Behaviors of Adolescents - Paper written for Introduction to Information Resources and Services. I examined the user group characteristics of adolescents, their current technological access, their information needs, and their information-seeking behaviors.

A Critical Evaluation of “The Effect of the Web on Undergraduate Citation Behavior: A 2000 Update” - Paper co-authored with Michelle Campbell Thomas for Introduction to Research Methods. We evaluated a study on plagiarism among freshmen at Cornell University.

The Presentation of the Holocaust in Children's Picture Books - Paper written for Visual Resources for Children. I discussed the controversy surrounding teaching the Holocaust in younger grades, and I studied the treatment of the Holocaust in seven children's picture books.

The Holocaust: Number the Stars and Other Titles - PowerPoint created for Materials for Children. I present themes in Number the Stars, and I offer related titles, Web sites, and activities for a 4th or 5th grade Holocaust unit.

David Wisniewski, Caldecott Winner - Paper written for Visual Resources for Youth. I provide biographical information and an examination of Wisniewski's works and his unique artistic style.
