I am doctoral student and CDLF fellow at the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin. After years of working as a librarian, I am pursuing my doctoral degree in information studies while investigating issues of public policy and information, particularly in respect to the use and creation of digital resources. I am also interested in learning how science and health information (and sometimes misinformation) moves from communities of experts into the public arena, and how social networking tools can be used to construct (or deconstruct) knowledge. |
