For the 2004-2005 School year, 20 schools in 8 states from all over the
United States will participate in the Program.

New schools are added to the Reading Program each fall. If you would like to nominate a school, please contact Dr. Loriene Roy for more information.
Schools participating in the Reading Project must:
- have a library media center open and available to students and staff;
- have a designated librarian/library media specialist; and
- be willing to participate in the project and follow Project guidelines.
In the selection process, preference will be given to schools geographically close to other project schools or schools with a strong liaison arrangement.
