Blogger has a new feature that allows you to post an audio blog to your blogspot by telephone call. I tried the "free sample" using my home phone, but you could post from a cell phone also if you really want to stay mobile and blog! The cost is $3.00 for 12 2-minute audio posts per month. I'm going to try and find out how popular it is. Check out my "test" post on my blog.

That is pretty cool. Wouldn't it be great to have audio recordings that did voice to text? I love that this extends accessibility for the hearing impaired as I've wondered about what it must be like to browse listening to text readers [ image name blah....blank gif...blank gif]. The only weird thing was the audio blog interface it brings up. It is a bunch of blank squares and I'm not sure what is supposed to be happening inside of them.

The only thing I would change is where the audio is stored... Blogger already has our ftp permission, so why does audblog have to host the mp3s? I'd rather have control of how it is presented, when it's available, etc.
