Posted by donturn at February 24, 2003 05:57 PMI particularly liked the observation about the key to successful collaborative work being management not technology and the idea of a "governance architecture" The problem, as stated, is to know what to govern and what not to govern. My experience has been similar to that of the author -- people can collaborate very effectively (and ingenuously) with explicit initial guidance (structure) and very simple tools.
