Description:
This course covers the systems analysis and design of Web applications focusing on information architecture, interfaces, Web technologies and development methods for creating robust information systems.

- Participate generously in discussions, attend regularly, and complete assignments according to the schedule on this Web site.
- Understand the protocols and applications used to provide Web-based information systems.
- Author a theoretical and practical review of a Web technology topic.
- Present an overview of a Web development tool, language or system.
- Gain a solid understanding of Web development languages including HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Map and re-architect a Web site design.
- Work with other class members using XIA to co-develop Web resources.
- Coordinate and integrate work with other class members to contribute to a single class Web project.
