Description:

This course covers the systems analysis and design of Web applications focusing on information architecture, interfaces, Web technologies and development methods for creating robust information systems.

Participate generously in discussions, attend regularly, and complete assignments according to the schedule on this Web site.
Understand the protocols and applications used to provide Web-based information systems.
Author a theoretical and practical review of a Web technology topic.
Present an overview of a Web development tool, language or system.
Gain a solid understanding of Web development languages including HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
Map and re-architect a Web site design.
Work with other class members using XIA to co-develop Web resources.
Coordinate and integrate work with other class members to contribute to a single class Web project.
