Mandatory class meetings 4-6 pm on September 12, 19, 26, October 3, and 10; additional on-line work is required. Introduction to Information Studies is required of all students completing a Master of Science in Information Studies in the UT School of Information. Students enrolled in the class will explore the broad and diverse field of information studies through readings, online and in-class discussions, and other exploratory activities (Required for all students sometime during their first two semester in the program; offered on the credit/no credit basis only).
