IBM WebSphere

IBM WebSphere is a set of software products that help customers build and manage high-performance Web sites.  Primary components  include the WebSphere Application Server, an open, standards-based, Web server deployment platform and a Web site development and management toolkit, and the WebSphere Studio, a set of tools for servlet development, HTML authoring, site management and Web project organization.

The sample applications currently shipped with the WebSphere Application Server and Studio products changes with each release due to marketing and product strategies.  Some of the applications I co-developed that either ship with the products now or did in past releases include Xtreme Adventures, an online trip provider; WebBank, a self-service banking application; and Ticket Central, a site to find events and buy tickets.
