Alchesay High School Alchesay High School is located on the Apache reservation in Whiteriver, AZ. More than half the students in the school are White Mountain Apache; therefore, the district integrates many aspects of the Apache culture. A.H.S. offers a Native American club that any student can join. This club is put together by students in the school who perform the Crown Dance ceremony in various places around the western part of the United States.  Alchesay High School was named after the warrior Chief Alchesay, who was vital to the formation of the White Mountain Apache Tribe.
