Services Similar to the TexShare Database Program

There are a few services similar to the TexShare Database Program that provide discounted pricing on electronic resources. The first option to research would be the Amigos A-Plus Service. Depending on where your library is located, there are also regional consortia available in different areas, such as the Harrington Library Consortium in the panhandle or the LEIAN (Llano Estacado Information Access Network) consortium in West Texas.

Amigos A-Plus Service

This service provides Amigos members discounted pricing on electronic resources, library supplies, and other services. The discount covers full-text databases, abstracting/indexing databases, electronic journals, electronic books, document delivery, and library and archival supplies. Visit the Amigos Library Services website at www.amigos.org for more information.

Harrington Library Consortium
