I performed adhesive removal, stain reduction, and mending on linen and tracing paper architectural drawings, in preparation for digitization.

Along with a colleague and several students, I provided conservation services to all University libraries, and offered technical expertise on preservation and conservation issues, as well as book repair, housing and reinforcement of paper-format library materials.

My duties included shelf reading, dusting, treatment of over-oiled books, pulling and reshelving books, and manning the front desk. This job required me to work with delicate materials and maintain the high level of security necessary to protect the collection.
