Lois Price acquired a guillotine during our second week of the summer. I offered to clean it for her, as it had been stored in a warehouse and was covered in dust, dirt and rust. I vacuumed, dusted and buffed until it was clean and rust-free.
Winterthur is a proactive, forward thinking institution, and as such they have an extensive Preventative Conservation Manual. Lauren Telepak and I created a Mold Prevention and Remediation section for the Preventative Conservation Manual.
