Transferring Files with "Drag & Drop"

The SSH Secure File Transfer Client also lets you simply select files from your local computer/remote server and then drag them and drop them to the appropriate location. It's just like moving files in the Windows desktop environment. This is sometimes easier than using the upload/download buttons in the tooldbar.

Step 1:
Locate the file/folder you want to move. To upload a file from your local machine to the server...simply find it on your machine and drag it into the SSH remote server window display and drop it in the appropriate location. Like so:

Step 2:
To download files onto your local machine from the server simply reverse the process. Select the file from the remote window and drag it and drop it onto the desktop.

It's as easy as that!
