"Right-clicking"How do I right-click with only one mouse button? To "right-click" on an item, press the control key while clicking on the item. It's that simple. If you prefer, you can replace the Mac mouse with a dual-button mouse. For example, here in the lab, I'm using a Mac with a Dell optical mouse. The mouse has two buttons and a wheel for scrolling, and the Mac recognizes all of the buttons.
