Technology Tutorials Sampler

The School of Information IT Lab has been training students on a wide variety of computer and Internet skills for a number of years, and in 1998 began offering online tutorials using streaming media. This sampler is intended to showcase a number of tutorials we have created over the past year.

When you select a tutorial on the left, you will be taken to a sample page from the tutorial. If you click on the video links to the right, you will be taken to a compilation sample video that you can navigate through to view the various tutorials. HOWEVER, as most of you know who deal with student employee's, this is not the best time of the semester to get things done. All of these tutorials, including the compilation piece, are in various stages of completion :-)

The IT Lab serves as an authoring and production lab for the creation, testing, use, and archiving of these tutorials, and we continue to test a wide variety of methods in the creation of these tutorials.

All of these tutorials are publicly available at http://www.ischool.utexas.edu/technology/tutorials/.
