Blocking Popup Windows

1. Open the Edit menu on the top toolbar and select Preferences.

2. On the Preferences menu, double-click on the + sign beside Privacy & Security to open a new list of options.
3. Select Popup Windows.

4. Click the option labeled Block unrequested popup windows.
5. If you'd like Mozilla to notify you every time a popup has been blocked, you may also select:

• Play a sound, and/or
• Display an icon in the Navigator status bar.

6. Click OK to finalize your preferences.
