Importing Tracks

iTunes can also be used to save tracks from audio CDs on your computer's hard drive. By doing this, you can store and listen to songs from all of your favorite CDs in one location.
When you open a CD in iTunes, the button in the top right corner of the window will become the Import button.

In the track listing, make sure that all of the tracks you want to import have a checkmark beside them (). You don't have to import an entire CD; you can pick and choose tracks by checking and unchecking tracks.

Click the Import button, and iTunes will show you its progress as it saves the tracks to your hard drive. The saved tracks will appear in your Library.
