If you are interested in providing an educational work experience for students, one of the Capstone options is the Professional Experience Project (PEP). These positions are not supervisor-directed in the manner of an internship, but rather are student-directed and project-oriented.

The framework of PEP projects is flexible by design. Students may be paid or unpaid, may work onsite or offsite, and the style and clock hours of supervision may vary according to the needs of each project. Up to 3 students may work on a PEP project, and each project will consist of 10-12 work hours per week for a standard semester.

Each project must, however, be sufficiently academically rigorous to merit 3 hours of graduate academic credit. The faculty supervisor on the project makes the credit/no credit determination.
