Desc:Objective: to conduct an exploratory study on the development and inplementation of an evidence-based oriental program at the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA). I will conduct a literature review of the development of evidence-based approaches in oriental medicine and ways to merge these approaches into an integrative medicine framework. The project will culminate in a written report that discusses the development of evidence-based oriental medicine, key journal, book and web resources and possible ways to develop an evidence-based integrative medicine that is optimally consonant with western medicine.
