Title:Creation of online version of "Basics of PubMed Searching" class    [ more details ]
Submitted:2005-10-12 00:00:00
When: Spring 2006
Genre:Training
Salary:Unpaid
Desc:The AMEP Medical Librarian currently teaches a one-hour class on Basics of PubMed Searching to hospital physicians, residents, nursing staff, clinical managers, and other hospital staff. There is high demand for the class, and the Seton HealthCare Network has an online Learning Center that could potentially host an online version of the course. The objective of this project would be the development of a self-paced online tutorial that covered the same material as the current class, in a format suitable for transfer to the Seton Information Systems staff in charge of the Learning Center web site.
