Desc:The Project involves designing and developing a Web-based guide that provides search strategies and "tips" for locating materials with an international / globalized content in the Alamo
Community College District (ACCD) Learning Resource Centers (LRCs). The successful candidate would work with several ACCD Librarians to develop this instruction for the LRC online catalog, the research databases, and the World Wide Web.
The ACCD Libraries are supporting the ACCD internationalizing effort --to globalize current courses and develop new ones with internationalized content -- by purchasing materials and by
helping identify and make available relevant information. This Project will support the ACCD internationalizing initiative. This position is open Summer or Fall, 2003.
